Chilford Hall Vineyard: Cambridgeshire

Chilford Hall is one of the oldest vineyards in England, in fact the first planting took place in 1972. Today, they now have over 20 acres, growing at least 9 different varieties of grape.

Childford Hall produce a range of still and sparkling wine, including some very reasonably priced white blends.

Coopers Croft Vineyard: Cambridgeshire

Coopers Croft is a small vineyard close to Newmarket. Despite the size of the vineyard, they have won a few awards. 2023 was their biggest harvest to date, so they look set to be producing more wine for sale. They may offer wine tasting by appointment only, but at present do not have a regular events schedule. Contact this vineyard directly for further information.


Gutter & Stars: Cambridgeshire

Gutter & Stars is an urban winery in Cambridge. The very first of it’s kind in the area. The grapes are grown elsewhere, but the wine is produced in the winery. Which, incidentally, is a windmill!

Gutter & Stars have created a unique range of still wines, including Bacchus, Ortega and Pinot Noir.

Very exciting things are happening at Rutland vineyard – this is the first year that they will be offering tours of the vineyard. It is also the first year that their wine will be on sale! All of this makes it a great time to visit Rutland vineyard.
